This is due to the fact that the triangulation does not faithfully reproduce the changes in the slope of the terrain, which requires editing the triangulation with the commands of the Surfaces menu (Invert Direction, Insert Lines, Delete Lines).
It may also be necessary to draw break lines that define changes in slope of the terrain, and reconstruct the surface using those lines.
