The advantage of Contour objects is that the labeling of their elevations does not break the objects, but rather they are partially hidden, so that it would be possible to obtain profiles without losing information by coinciding with cuts. Line and Polyline modes do not have this feature.
Line mode is suitable when triangulation is going to undergo many edits and automatic bending is on.
Polyline mode is the most standardized and ideal for delivering a job to users who do not have MDT.
