Yes, specifying the layer to use in the corresponding commands. For example, the command Points> Import, the Draw Points box must be activated, and by means of the Layer button the name of the destination layer can be chosen.
On the other hand, if the points are drawn, the Points> Change> Change Layer command can be used to modify the layer to which the selected set of points belongs.
Actually, the MDT points can be distributed in any layer, they will be detected automatically.
