One possibility is to use the codes for the vertices of the profile. To do this, once obtained from the terrain, new distances can be inserted with the command Profiles > List Profile. In these vertices a text can be assigned as a code, and finally, Codes can be inserted as a numerical data element.

Another possibility is to insert an user-defined element on the numerical data. With this element it is intended that the user can label a series of data in an element whose data is not stored in the segment, but in an external file. MDT reads a columnar file where the first column must be the stations to be used as a reference and then a series of columns with the data to be labeled. See command Definition of Numerical Data.
