The Profiles > Create Profile> Convert from Cross-sections command is used to obtain a profile file from some cross-sections.

The process transforms the stations of the cross-sections into distances, to which the elevation of the alignment of each profile is assigned, directly or interpolating it. The program simply asks for the file of cross-sections that we want to use as a reference, and the name of the file of the profiles that will contain the results, carrying out the conversion.
