Annual licenses are for those users who want to keep their license current and come with Maintenance, which gives you access to personalized technical support, upgrades, and compatibility with the different CAD versions released during the year.

Perpetual licenses are not renewed annually, and Maintenance is offered separately, so if you want to work with the latest CAD versions, you will need to upgrade.

The SINGLE SEAT license can be used on a single computer, so if you want to use it on another computer you need to transfer the license.

In NETWORK licenses, the software can be installed on any computer and connects to a server to check the availability of licenses. Network licensing requires the protection to be installed on a server in the same local area.

  1. The receiver is not connected
  2. The receiver returns incorrect data
  3. The coordinate system is not correct

The usual problem will be case 3), which is what the title of this topic is referring to.

Please make sure that the coordinate system that you are using for your geographical position is correct. Specially the geoid.

We'd like to remind that by the date of the creation of this topic (02/22/2024), it's not possible to change the coordinate system of a project, and a new one must be created.

2. Unzip the zip file and copy the GDE file anywhere on the device, for example in the Downloads folder

3. Run TcpGPS and go to the Survey option, creating a new project or selecting an existing one

4. Run the Import > Geodesy option and select the previously copied GDE file

5. Create a new project (Project > New) or go to the configuration screen of the current project (Project > Information)

6. Create a new coordinate system by selecting the downloaded geoid, EGM2008 Geoid Height 2.5x2.5 or EGM2008 Geoid Height 1x1

7.
