You can use the Grade lines > Utilities> Convert Alignment command. Then select the input format from the list and press the Convert to MDT button.

It is necessary to create a segment file using the Roads/Segments > Define/Edit command, in which at least the alignment, the profile and the vertical alignment must be entered.

This option is oriented towards the control of a corridor in the process of execution. With it we intend to carry out the analysis and control of a survey on the MDT, made from standard cross sections with horizontal and vertical alignments, which has produced the theoretical state of the terrain of a linear work.

There are two calculation methods: using a Surface, or using Cross-sections. In both cases we must select the Points file to analyze.

Once the MDT dialog has been validated, it performs a calculation process with the previous data and displays a list on the screen with the following information on each line: stake out point, station, and displacement with respect to the alignment, X, Y coordinates, theoretical elevation, elevation real and difference between the two.
